Hello, your untact tour guide, Mr.Been. I`ll show you all the corners of the historic and unique sights around the world. At first, I`ll let you go to Changdeokgung palace, the world Unesco heritage in seoul. You can see many beautiful Korean traditional buildings in the palace. So, You don`t have to miss here, when you have a plan to visit Seoul. Just follow me!

This area is believed to have been the last to be added on to the Secret Garden. Originally, there were five small round and rectangular ponds. During the Japanese occupation, three of them were transformed into one curved pond, which is called Gwallamji. The other two ponds were also put together, then one pond, called Jondeokji, was made. Pavilions of various shapes were built here. Jondeokjeong, a hexagonal pavilion with a double layered roof, and Gwallamjeong with a fanshaped roof were built on the brim of the pond. On the hill to the west stands Pyeomusa. Pyeomusa was originally built in a ‘ㄱ’ layout and an auxiliary house, but nowadays it is a plain-looking building with no auxiliary structure. Deep in the woods is Seungjaejeong, a smart-looking pavilion with a square roof. Of all these, Jondeokjeong, built in 1644, is the oldest.

The only fan-shaped Gwallamjeong pavilion was built on the brim of Gwallamji pond.
It would be the most beautiful in fall because all leaves turn red and yellow here. So, Changdeokgung rear garden is already for the best spot in fall in Seoul.

On the ceiling are twin dragons with Cintamani, a symbol of upright royal authority.
The pavilion is located on a small pond with wonderful views of the surrounding garden.

Chwigyujeong pavilion was built for the king to take a rest on the way to Ongnyucheon.
Inside Chwihanjeong pavilion surrounded by pine trees was cool during the hot summer.
Going down throught the a downhill next to the pavilion, you can get to Okryucheon area.
