King’s official area, Injeongjeon and seonjeongjeon of Changdeokgung palace

 I want to be your untact world tour guide. I`ll show you all the corners of the historic and unique sights around. At firrst, I’ll let you go to Changdeokgung palace, the world Unesco heritage in seoul. You can see many beautiful Korean traditional buildings in the palace.  Changdeokgung is an exceptional example of official and residential buildings that were integrated into and harmonized with their natural setting. Situated at the foot of a mountain range, it was designed to embrace the topography in accordance with the theory of divination based on topography, by placing the palace structures to the south and incorporating an extensive rear garden to the north called Huwon. Adaptation to the natural terrain distinguished Changdeokgung from conventional palace architecture.

 

The golden door gratings and dancheong, traditional multicolored paintwork, of Injeongjeon hall are beautiful.

Easily see the signal of Mt. Namsan Beacon Fire Station in front of Injeongjeon .

Look at the beautiful blue-glazed roof of Seonjeongjeon hall to the east side of Injeongjeon .

Seonjeongmun Gate and Seonjeongjeon Hall, the king`s office, are small and simple.

Seonjeongjeon hall, a king`s office, is the only remaining building with blue tiled roof.

Seonjeongjeon was a king`s office to discuss state affairs with the high ranking officials.

 

Behind Seonjeongjeon , there is wide backyard with a stone terraced flower garden.

Next to Seonjeongjeon Huijeongdang hall is located. A foreign tourist wearing Korean traditional custums enjoys the UNESCO world heritage.
